I dislike this word



"EXTRAORDINARY"





i guess that is due to the fact i watched too much of HEROES??



anyway,
HEROES taught me one thing,


ordinary people always seek for extraordinary,
they want to be extraordinary,
but they are not,
but they want,
so they use all kinds of way to make themselves extraordinary,
or at least, look extraordinary,
they deem themselves extraordinary,
but in fact, they are ordinary,
but they just don't want to be ordinary,
they want to be extraordinary,
so by hook or by crook, they always make themselves look extraordinary,
and will very very honour if receive feedback telling them they are extraordinary,
and they really thought they are extraordinary..

but they never know,
they have turn into a attention-seeker.
who do everything just to wish gain attention.
who do everything just to wish people look up at them and think they are extraordinary.



however,
extraordinary people would wish they are just ordinary people,
they don't want to be special..
they won't go around and tell people they are extraordinary,
but someday, people still know they are extraordinary.
but they wish people never know.
they do things secretly,
they hide their ability,
they can be very outstanding in front of other but they choose not to,
they don't go around telling people what ability they have within them,
but people will still know.

this called, extraordinary.




anyway..


i can't deny a fact that,

we all are extraordinary, because we are made of God! :)
and we must pursue the spirit of EXCELLENCE in everything we do!!
we can do extraordinary thing because we have JESUS in our life!!
we become extraordinary because of what JESUS had done for us on cross!!
we are extraordinary!! we are special!!
this is a fact.





so.. what actually this post about??

well,



u told me,
"u're extraordinary"

but i had told u,
"i dislike this word"



so... u din listen me, ain't u?




fact is..
you are extraordinary not because of what you have,
or what you are capable of,
or what you think you are different from others,
or what special ability you have,
or what you think you are..


it is because of what Jesus had done for us!!
bear in mind of that.




1 Corinthians 13 ~ Love ^ The Greatest Gift

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

而新鮮的「際遇」總是那麼動人可愛。

但別忘了，新歡身上總是有不確定的未知數，

舊愛身上就是有難得的熟悉感、確定感、信賴感。

千萬不要隨便在偶然的「際遇」中迷失了自己，

錯放了幸福溫暖的手。
